The fourball of Peter Collins, Kathy North, Angela Adamson and Clive Adamson triumphed with 85 points.
Runners-up were Ivor Hardman, Gareth Goodall, Mervyn Jones and Edward Houghton with 84 points. Third were David Wise, Sean Houghton, Gareth Ford and Carl Bache on countback from the fourball of Alan Schofield, Ken Price, Lee Kirton and Mark Thompson and the fourball of Jon Winstanley, Chris Roberts, Andrew Parker and Chris Parker, all on 83 points.
The Ladies’ Peugeot Coronation Foursomes qualifier was won by Kathy North and Lynne Rumbold with 34 points. They will now represent the club in the area finals.
Runners-up were Wendy Bushell and Julie Daniels with 32 points and third were Joyce Collins and Jean Head with 30 points. Lynne Rumbold won the ladies’ medal B eight shots, scoring a net 76. Second was Kathy North with net 84 and third was Audrey Fox with net 85.
Jack Bristow claimed the honours in the June junior medal with net 73. Runner-up was Callum Peart with net 74 and third Archie Smith with 78.
Callum Peart won the May junior medal played a week ago with net 75. Runner-up was Will Tate with net 80.
The ladies held a successful open competition which was won by a team from West Berks with 82 points.
Caversham Heath edged past Frilford Heath 4-3 in the Hillman Trophy with two and one being the most popular score.
In the leading match John Downey was unable to overcome his opponent’s birdie, birdie start to the back nine, losing two and one. Dave Wise immediately addressed the deficit with a commanding five and four win and, though the match was over, Wise eagled 15 to show that he still had plenty in reserve. Ken Price found his opponent too strong in the third match but Tom Thompson completed a two and one victory in game four to level the match.
Caversham Heath men’s teams were in fine form over the weekend winning all their matches. They trounced Banbury 6.5-0.5 in the Central Sevens, also beat Wrag Barn 6.5-1.5 in the Concorde League and defeated Bradfield 4.5-1.5 in a friendly match.
Anne Smith represented the county in their recent tri-match against Bucks & Oxon. The Berkshire county ladies’ second team beat Bucks and Oxon to secure a place in the Midlands South final. Berks won 6.5-points, Oxon 3 and Bucks 2.5.
Caversham Heath Seniors failed to clinch the double over Sandford Springs, going down four and two.
Callum Peart claimed the honours in Division 1 of the weekend Stableford. Peart scored 40 points to win from Darren Bonney with 38 points. Richard Craven was third with 35 points.
Division 2 winner was Steven Hughes on countback from Rachel Downey, both with 37 points. Third was Lynne Rumbold with 36 points.
