MATT ROBERTSON claimed the top spot in Division 1 of the Weekend Medal at Caversham Heath.

The three handicapper recorded 17 pars and two bogeys in his round of net 72.

Runner-up was Chris Green (five handicap), on countback from Gareth Goodall (five handicap) and Richard Craven (one handicap), all with net 73.

Green recorded one birdie and six bogeys while Goodall had five bogeys.

Craven had an eagle, one par and two bogeys, but a double bogey on the 16th hole proved very costly.

Division 2 winner was Jack Turrill (16 handicap) with net 70. Two shots further back was Andrew Thompson (13 handicap), and Gareth Ford (12 handicap), both with net 72. Thompson, however, gained second spot on  countback.

Eric Mumm (23hcp) won Division 3 with net 71, despite a quadruple bogey on the last hole. Lynne Rumbold (17hcp) recorded one birdie, but double bogeyed the last to finish second on net 73.

Third was Nigel Eyre (19hcp) on 77, but he too double bogeyed the last hole.
