DAVID HADDOCK ran out winner of the Hallmark Bowl at Badgemore Park after posting an impressive 42 points.

Brent Levitt scored 38 points for second place from Calum Miller with 37 points.

In the Spring Stableford competition some good scores were posted despite high winds threatening to make the course difficult to play. In Division 1 Simon Austin won with 36 points from Darren White (35) and Andy Meaner (32). Division 2 was won by Tom Stocker with 38 points from Johnny Connell (36) and Gavin Stewart (35).

The Midweek Medal competition saw Eric Turtle take first place in Divion 1, posting a net 64, from Melvyn Keen (65) and David haddock (68). Division 2 was won by Tom Stocker with 37 points from Jeremy Hughes (35) and Barry Stanley (34).

The Scotch Cup team competition had three identical total scores of 79 points topping the field. Countback gave first place to Dave Renshaw, Mick Ford and Helen Ghezzo. In second place came Martin Fowler, David Weston and Dorothy Arlett with third place going to Paul Woollard, Peter Maller and Sheila Spreadborough.



The scratch team have posted two wins, both secured two to one, against The Springs Golf Club and Drayton Park Golf Club, placing Badgemore Park at the top of the Scratch League.

The ABC team posted a 4.5-1.5 win in the first of two matches against Harewood Downs Golf Club making a good start to retaining the Bad Hare Claret Jug.

Host club Badgemore retained the BadHen Trophy as they defeated Henley last Saturday in the return leg of the competition.

Going into the match Badgemore, led by C team captain Ken Arlett and club captain Paul Woollard, held a slender one point advantage but this was increased as they eased to a 4.5-1.5 victory. The final overall result saw Badgemore triumph 8-4.
