IN a busy week of inter-club matches Badgemore Park enjoyed mixed fortunes with a 5-1 home win for the mixed team against The Springs and a 4-2 win for the C team at home against a strong Mapledurham side.
The scratch team drew at Bicester while the midweek team endured the only defeat of the week away at Caversham Heath where the result was 4.5-1.5.
In club competitions the final of the winter pairs knockout took place with Terry Killick and Gary Miller beating Fizz Kazzam and Fred Hannam on the final hole to take first place.
The first of the summer medal competitions took place on Saturday with Adrian Whyles posting 82 net 69 to win Division 1 from Pete Foster (81/70) and third placed Greg Cooper (83/71).
Division 2 was won by Terry Denby with 88 net 69 from Roger Moore (88/71) and third placed Mark Tracy (87/71).
The C Division winner was David Evans, posting 38 points, with Seamus Jeffs (37) second and John Cole (36) coming in third.
