SONNING COMMON based Thames Valley Gymnastics Club came away with two medals at the Oxford In and Out of Age Levels Championship held in Abingdon.

The Thames Valley club fielded 11 gymnasts in different levels, where they battled it out with eight other clubs over the four discipline event of floor, vault, beam and asymmetric bars.

Natalie Collier won premier gold for the overall Championship (Level 4 “Out Of Age”) for the second consecutive year with 46.15 points. May Davis also won gold (Level 3 “Out Of Age”) with 38.85, narrowly beating her team mate Maisie Palmer by the narrowest of margins who won silver with 38.75.

This was the first competition for Thames Valley’s youngest team members who competed at Level 5 “In Age” and despite putting in good performances, failed to win any medals.
