CHILDREN at Harpsden Pre-School enjoyed a visit from Henley police community support officers Janice Smith and Claire Hewitt as part of their “People who help us” topic this term.
They were able to try on police hats and jackets and learn about the job of a police officer. Ten children and a teacher squeezed into the back of the police van.
Other professionals to visit the pre-school this term have included a doctor, a physiotherapist, a dentist, a postman and a vet.
Administrator Lucy Weatherston said: “The children really enjoyed listening to all the visitors and hearing about the different ways in which they help us.”
