A WAITING room at Townlands Hospital in Henley was closed off on Monday after a leak in a heating pipe.
Water was seen dripping from the ceiling of the waiting area, which is near the reception of the new £10 million hospital in York Road.
The area was cordoned off to patients and staff as the piping was fixed and reopened at about 10am.
A spokeswoman for NHS Property Services said: “A minor leak was discovered by a member of the maintenance team early on Monday morning.
“The area was isolated while this was investigated and found to be a small leak from heating pipework in the ceiling.
“It was fixed with no disruption to patient care and at no cost to the NHS.”
