A PATIENT participation group has raised enough money to buy a new electrocardiogram machine.

A PATIENT participation group has raised enough money to buy a new electrocardiogram machine.

The Watlington and Chalgrove Surgeries have helped raise more than £1,800 at a May Day festival and from a strawberry cream tea.

They now want to buy new higher-backed waiting room chairs for patients with mobility problems.

The next fund-raiser is a “Good Old-Fashioned Jumble and Bric-a-Brac Sale” at the Watlington Club from 11am until 3pm on Saturday, September 17.

Donations of good clean items can be taken to Old School Place in Watlington before September 13.
