TALKS were continuing this week to iron out the final details of the redevelopment of Townlands Hospital in Henley.
Plans for the £8.7 million “health campus” were given conditional approval by NHS Property Services two weeks ago.
This was subject to “a small number of commercial issues” which the company said it expected to be resolved within days.
Henley MP John Howell said: “The NHS is negotiating with the commercial developer to try to achieve the best value for the taxpayer. I urge the developer to recognise this.”
Developer Amber Solutions for Care was granted planning permission in November 2012.
