A PUBLIC meeting on the progress of the new Townlands Hospital in Henley will be held next week
A PUBLIC meeting on the progress of the new Townlands Hospital in Henley will be held next week.
It has been organised by Vinci, the company awarded the contract for the new £16million “health campus”.
Company representatives will update residents on the build, which is due to be completed by the end of next month, two months later than the original date.
They will be joined by developer Amber Solutions for Care, project director Mike Leto and members of the Townlands Steering Group.
Councillor Ian Reissmann, who chairs the steering group, said: “Vinci will explain the delay in the build and the new opening date.
“They will also talk about the planning amendment they submitted in August, which changed the layout to make it a greener and more pleasant site. This included an underground car park.”
The meeting will be held at Henley town hall on Monday at 7.30pm.
The steering group will hold its next public meeting on January 25, while the new Townlands Stakeholders Reference Group will meet in Henley the following day but this meeting will not be open to the public.
