HE’S been starring on our screens as super-sleuth Jonathan Creek and QI’s resident buffoon for more than 15 years but for Alan Davies, stand-up is his first love.
After ending a 12-year hiatus last year with his successful comeback tour Life is Pain, Davies is back on the road for his new show, Little Victories.
The show, which premiered in Australia last year, will play 39 dates across the country and Alan says his return to the stage has got the creative juices flowing again.
He said: “I feel like I’ve got a lot of freedom now. I’ve done a lot of things over the years and found in the end there was an itch to scratch with stand-up.
“I started doing some shows in Australia because of a promoter friend of mine and found I had quite a lot of ideas and material, which is always the hardest part to come by.
