School bug

TWENTY year six children at Sacred Heart Primary School in Henley were absent on Monday due to a flu-like virus.

Headteacher Gez Davis said: “For a school that prides itself on an exemplary attendance record, this was a very unusual situation.

“We had 20 out of 27 year six children absent but I’m glad to say the situation improved on Tuesday with 14 back in the year group. We had a handful of children off sick across the other year groups.”
