A HUMANITARIAN worker from Wargrave has been named as another British victim of the Ethiopian Airlines disaster.
Father-of-two Oliver Vick, 45, was travelling to his posting with the United Nations in Somalia when the flight crashed outside Addis Ababa on Sunday.
His family said: “Olly was well-loved and had an energy and zest for life which lifted and inspired all that met him.”
In a statement his colleagues at the UN Assistance Mission in Somali said they were “deeply saddened” by his death.
They added: “We express our heartfelt sympathies to his family and loved ones and mourn the loss of a passionate and talented friend who worked tirelessly for peace in Somalia. We will miss Olly every day.”
Mr Vick, who helped to bring parliamentary elections to Afghanistan, reportedly died with his girlfriend.
