Police appeal for witnesses of a serious traffic collision in Slough.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a serious injury road traffic collision in Slough.

The collision happened on the pedestrian crossing on Wexham Road, near to the junction of Borderside, at around 3.10pm on Tuesday.

It involved a pedestrian and the driver of a white car.

The pedestrian sustained a broken foot and remains in hospital.

The driver of the white car initially stopped at the scene but then drove off.

The car is described as potentially a Vauxhall Astra or similar.
