A MAN from Henley has been jailed for a string of offences.
Jamie Clark, 35, of Clarence Road, was sentenced to 36 weeks in prison at Oxford Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday last week.
He pleaded guilty to four counts of shoplifting, one count of theft of a bicycle and one count of fraud by false representation.
Between December last year and April, Clark targeted four shops in Oxford, stealing goods worth more than £470.
On December 23, 2024 he fraudulently used a debit card to spend more than £67 at a shop in Oxford. He also stole an electric bicycle worth more than £970 from a car park in Henley on March 17.
Investigating officer Pc Jonathan Kelly, said: “I am satisfied that Clark has been jailed for his crimes.
“It is apparent in this case that his offending activated a previous suspended sentence for similar crimes.”
