FATHER Christmas will be on a “sleigh tour” of Henley and Shiplake starting on Monday.
Music will be played loudly to let families know that he has arrived each evening.
The elves and the Henley Lions charity will be accepting donations, which will be shared with local charities and community groups.
The schedule, from 6pm, is as follows: Monday, December 8: St Mark’s Road, Gainsborough estate and St Andrew’s Road, Henley.
Tuesday, December 9: Shiplake.
Wednesday, December 10: Wilson Avenue, Watermans, Reading Road, Marmion Road, Grange Road, Park Road, Harpsden Road and Niagara Road.
Thursday, December 11: Greys Road, The Close, Greys Hill, Deanfield Avenue and Ancastle Green.
Sunday, December 14: Blandy Road, Makins Road, King James Way area and St Andrew’s Road as far as Green Lane.
Monday, December 15: Mount View, Crisp Road and Luker Avenue.
Tuesday, December 16: Peppard Lane, visiting all the roads between Peppard Lane and St Andrew’s Road.
Wednesday, December 17: Valley Road, visiting all the roads off it.
Thursday, December 18: Upton Close, Queen Street and Friday Street, the town centre, West Street and New Street.
Pam Phillips, of the Henley Lions, said: “I hope you will be able to give Santa a wave and make a donation to Henley Lions, which use it to help local people and groups such as the Chiltern Centre, Bishopswood School and for Riverboat trips for the Memory Café group.
