I’ve finally found time to set up my Hortus Garden Design Facebook page.
It’s a fantastic way to show inspirational ideas relating to garden design, from stunning garden products to the whole range of materials used in creating gardens.
Plant favourites can be featured and shown at the relevant time of year to inspire people to think about how planting can improve their outdoor space.
I will also be featuring photos of well-known modern day or historic gardens to show what others have achieved in the past and present. If you use Facebook do have a look at Hortus Garden Design’s pages a ‘like’ would be appreciated!

My garden design photo for this month shows a planting scheme I designed to link the upper terrace of a beautiful house to the main garden below.
The clients contacted me in the autumn and the design was implemented ready for the following spring.
The photo shows what can be achieved in a short space of time with a professional garden designer on board.
