A TALK by leading historian David Starkey is set to go ahead at the Kenton Theatre
A TALK by leading historian David Starkey is set to go ahead at the Kenton Theatre next week, having being postponed from its original date of Wednesday, April 6.
The King is dead: Royal death and succession under the Tudors is at the New Street Venue on Sunday, May 29.
Professor Starkey has previously characterised the Tudor period as “the most glorious soap opera, with the whole future of countries turning on what these huge personalities felt like when they got out of bed in the morning”.
The lecture starts at 7.30pm and runs for an hour, followed by a 30-minute Q&A and book signing.
Tickets are £17 for adults with concessions available. To book, call (01491) 575 698 or visit www.kentontheatre.co.uk
