AN Overton Harriers runner was first to cross the finish line in Henley last Saturday at the end of the Thames Trot race.
Neil Martin won this year’s 50-mile race from Oxford to Henley by more than 17 minutes as he crossed the line in a time of six hours, 22 minutes and 37 seconds.
Alex Whearity of Reading Joggers was second with a time of 6.39.54 with Matthew Lynas third in 6.52.37.
Rachel Merriman was the first woman to cross the finishing line in a time of 8.06.16.
