RUPERT HOUSE pupil Leo Robinson saw his MSA Bambino Championship exploits last year recognised at the Autosport Show at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham last weekend.

Robinson was presented with the Rookie Champion’s Trophy by former Grand Prix driver, three times Le Mans winner and BBC TV presenter Allan McNish.

The six-year-old then went on to attend the black tie Champions Dinner, where he was the youngest driver present, in the company of F1 drivers and Motorsport managers.

This year Robinson will again compete in the MSA Bambino Championship which will be contested over eight rounds at circuits in England, Scotland and Wales. He will start this year’s campaign as the second ranked driver and one of the favourites to win the overall title.
