Mitsubishi Motors’ grand tour

by Nigel Wigmore

MITSUBISHI Motors in the UK has announced the celebration of its 40th anniversary this year, and to mark this landmark in the organisation’s history the company is organising a Mitsubishi Motors Grand Tour on May 31 for 60 of its vehicles manufactured before 2001. The tour starts and finishes at Rendcomb Airfield in Gloucestershire.

This historic venue, located just a few miles north of the company’s Cirencester headquarters, is a former First World War Royal Flying Corps airbase and now home to the famous Breitling AeroSuperbatics display team.

The first car will be flagged away by TV’s Mike Brewer at 9.30am to embark on the 120-mile route through the Cotswolds and Northamptonshire.
