Skoda sales hit an all-time high

RECORDING its best first quarter and strongest single month in the company’s 121-year history, Skoda

RECORDING its best first quarter and strongest single month in the company’s 121-year history, Skoda highlighted its growth in March.

Between January and March 2016, the Czech carmaker delivered 276,600 vehicles to customers, which is 4.3 per cent more than in the same period last year.

Delivering 106,300 units to customers worldwide in March, the company sold more vehicles than ever before in a single calendar month. The positive developments in the firm’s core markets of China and Europe — with double-digit growth in numerous individual markets — also contributed to their record sales figures, including the significant gains of the Skoda Fabia, Superb and Yeti series.
