THE River and Rowing Museum is letting children enter for free every day this Easter to take part in their daily Easter Egg hunts.

The Easter bunny will be making secret visits to the museum every day from tomorrow (Saturday) to Sunday, April 14 to set a challenge for all young visitors. Children can then explore the museum galleries to hunt for clues that help solve a puzzle in order to win a delicious prize.

The museum is also laying on a number of events for children during the Easter holidays. These include a chance to get up close and personal with ducklings, bunnies and guinea pigs in the Whiskers And Wildlife event on Thursday, April 11 as well as a number of craft workshops.

Details of these events can be found on the museum website, www.rrm.co.uk

White Stuff is also organising egg hunts this Easter weekend. Children are invited to look for the eggs hidden in the clothes shop, fill in an entry form with the number of eggs found, and wait to see if they have won a luxury chocolate egg. The hunt is on in the Bell Street shop from today (Friday) until Monday.

And if you still need more chocolate, there’s always the free town centre trail on Easter Sunday in Market Place, from 8.30am until 1.30pm. Best to book your family dentist appointment now.
