Musical duo on top of folk scene

NETTLEBED Folk Club’s next gig welcomes Cara Dillon and Sam Lakeman, who are musical partners as well as husband and wife.

Northern Irish folk singer Cara won the All- Ireland singing trophy at the age of 14.

Sam, who grew up on the fringes of Dartmoor, plays piano and acoustic guitar.

Cara Dillon and Sam Lakeman play the Village Club, High Street, Nettlebed, on Monday, at 7.30pm (there is a bar).
