Swing band is back

FOLLOWING two successful concerts last summer at the bandstand at Mill Meadows the Roy Bailey Swing Band are back in Henley this evening (Friday).

The band will be performing at the Christ Church Centre in Reading Road at 7.15pm at a musical event organised by the Rotary Club of Henley to raise money for their charities, and in particular the Chilterns Air Ambulance.

The repertoire will include some big band favourites as well as some new numbers.

The band features its vocalists Rebecca Kean, Gail Hendrix and Ed Hall. In the second half of the show the band will play a few tribute numbers to the great Glenn Miller Band.

Tickets are available from Roger Sayer on (01491) 280063 or Eddie Agar on (01491) 681296 or at the door.
