RENOWNED musician Alan Barnes will join the Henley Jazz Workshop as a tutor as it celebrates its third year.
He will be work with bass and guitar tutor Andy Crowdy, Hamburg saxophonist Thomas l’Etienne and flute, saxophone and keyboard player Annie Parker.
The fantastic Windsor-based guitarist Max Brittain will also be there to give help and advice.
The workshop will run from Monday to Friday, July 27 to 31, from 10am to 4pm, at Valley Road Primary School.
There is a performance on the Friday evening in the school’s main hall.
The workshop caters for instrumentalists with some playing experience (beginner to intermediate) who want to enjoy a week of playing jazz in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
Cygnets runs a holiday club for four to 12-year-olds on the same site so childcare is not an issue.
Places cost £300; for more information and to book, visit www.henleyjazzworkshop.com
