A WORLD-class cellist will join the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra for the final concert of the Hexagon’s 2014-15 season.

Natalie Clein will deliver a programme of Smetana, Dvorak and Rimsky-Korsakov tomorrow (Saturday, 7.30pm), with the first half consisting of quintessentially Czech music from two Bohemian legends.

In the second half, young Spanish maestro Eduardo Portal will lead the orchestra in the tale of One Thousand and One Nights in Rimsky-Korsakov’s colourful epic Scheherazade.

Peter Avis will present a free pre-concert talk at 6.15pm. Tickets cost £18 to £34, with concessions available. Call the box office on 0118 960 6060 or see www.readingarts.com/ thehexagon
