Distinct sound of the Carpenters recreated

A LOVE of the Carpenters’ music and an uncanny likeness to their distinctive sound led singer Kim Dickinson to perform

A LOVE of the Carpenters’ music and an uncanny likeness to their distinctive sound led singer Kim Dickinson to perform in the Yesterday Once More show.

The show is a tribute to the brother-sister double act which found fame in the Seventies and early Eighties.

Kim has supported the Beach Boys and Richard Marx over the last couple of years and her own country album was number one in both the Independent European Charts and the Nashville Showcase charts.

Throughout the show Kim will deliver the songs which made Karen Carpenter famous.

No fewer than 10 of the Carpenters’ singles went on to become million-sellers, and by 2005 combined worldwide sales of albums and singles well exceeded 100 million units.

The show runs at the Wycombe Swan theatre on January 16. Box office 01494 512000 or online at www.wycombeswan.co.uk
