THE Reading Summer Proms continue with more fantastic events to entertain and delight until Saturday, July 4.
The free Forbury Bandstand Concert Season runs on Sundays from 3pm to 4.30pm, offering live music in the tranquil surroundings of Forbury Gardens.
On Saturday, June 6, you have a choice — with one option being the Woodley Concert Band playing lively and popular music from film, musical theatre and more, at Christ Church in Woodley from 7.30pm. It will be raising money for Christians Against Poverty â?? see www.woodleyconcertband.Â org.uk
Alternatively you can head to the Concert Hall in Blagrave Street, Reading, to hear the University of Reading Chorus and Chamber Choir’s Choral Gala, which includes Mozart’s Coronation Mass and two works by Fauré â?? the Requiem and the Cantique de Jean Racine. The concert starts at 7.30pm and features soprano Joanna Bywater and organist Gavin Roberts.

On Saturday, June 13, Wokingham Choral Society will perform a light summer concert of sacred and secular music at Sindlesham Court, Mole Road, Sindlesham.
