THE first midsummer garden concert in Binfield Heath for several years takes place on Sunday, June 21.
Concertgoers are invited to watch the longest day fade over the countryside around while listening to local chamber choir Tamesis sing a selection of “Songs from the Silver Screen”.
It’s a picnic rug occasion and homemade cakes and tea will be available to buy.
This is a chance to relax in a lovely local garden with stunning views and at the same enjoy a celebration of film music through the last 60 years or so, from Louise Rapple’s talented singers.
The venue address is Kiln House, Kiln Lane, Binfield Heath (the Shiplake end). The gardens will open from 4.30pm and the music starts at 5.30pm.
Tickets are £12 for adults and £6 for under-16s. Children are welcome if they are happy to sit quietly and listen to the music.
Tickets are available from www.tamesischamberchoir. co.uk or in the Binfield Heath village shop.
