The Voyage of the Pelican
, Reading’s Witt Morgan Chorus are poised to tease out the dramatic complexities of sibling rivalry.

Beyond the Doll’s House
is the UK premiere of the innovative silhouette animation film backed by live choral and orchestral music.

A spokesman for the Witt Morgan Chorus explained the concept, saying: “Using paintings and silhouette animation together with thrilling performances of live singing and orchestral music we explore the fears and hopes of two children, William and Victoria, awaiting the arrival of a newborn brother or sister.

“As they wait, the children discover an old doll’s house. Through this they visit strange lands and peoples on a richly imagined make-believe journey of emotional discovery.”

Beyond the Doll’s House
is being performed at Wesley Church, Queens Road, Reading, next Friday (July 17) at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £14 in advance and £18 on the door, with concessions available at £11 and £15. To book, call 0333 666 3366 or visit www.beyondthedollshouse.com
