SHIPLAKE Farm’s barn — complete with a real donkey and cattle — is the venue for two performances of the Nativity with carols next Saturday (December 17).
The first takes place at 11am and the second at 4pm by candlelight. The audience will sit on hay bales and there is also the option of dressing up in Nativity costumes for the whole family.
A spokesman for the event organisers said a “wonderful relaxed atmosphere” is in store at both performances.
Free festive mulled punch and mince pies will be served.
The event is being organised by the Shiplake, Dunsden and Harpsden group of churches: St Peter and St Paul’s, Shiplake; All Saints, Dunsden; and St Margaret’s, Harpsden.
Tickets are free of charge, with attendees being asked to book in advance by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
