HENLEY Symphony Orchestra are back at the Hexagon for the second time next month with an eclectic line-up.
The spring concert features some of the greatest modern classical music from America — the Caribbean rhythms of Gershwin’s Cuban Overture to start, and Symphonic Dances from West Side Story by Bernstein later in the the programme.
Between the two, a trio of young soloists will play Beethoven’s Triple Concerto for violin, cello and piano.
Finally, the evening will be rounded off with Strauss’ Till Eulenspiegel’s Merry Pranks.
The orchestra, which staged its debut concert at the Hexagon last year, will play under the baton of musical director Ian Brown.
