CRITICALLY acclaimed acoustic trio Whalebone are coming to Dunsden Village Hall as part of their Seasons tour on Saturday, May 21.
The Shropshire-based group, who have won several awards internationally for their music, have a passionate belief in bringing their show to community venues.
“We like to share real music with real people,” says Whalebone fiddle player Sarah Ibberson.
“There’s nothing better than playing to a hall full of people, each of whom you can see, talk to and connect with.
“And each of those people can see, talk to and connect with us too. It’s a two-way thing, and we’ve nothing to hide!” she laughs.
Whalebone’s show features high energy acoustic music and haunting atmospheric tunes. These sit alongside inventive interpretations of traditional music, rock classics and original material from the band’s 10-year career.
The show will also feature brand new material together with tall tales, folklore and the myths which inspired the music. Tickets are priced £8 and can be booked by calling 0118 969 3633 or 0118 947 0339 — or online at www.ticketsource.co.uk/Â whalebone
