Rock up for ales

FANS of rock music and real ale are in for a treat tomorrow (Saturday), when

FANS of rock music and real ale are in for a treat tomorrow (Saturday), when the Caversham Rock ’n’ Ale Festival cranks up the PA.

An evening event held on the playing fields of St Anne’s School, the festival gets under way at 6.30pm.

A spokesman for the organisers said: “We are delighted to once again have some top local and not-so-local talent playing.

“Junction 6 will open the evening. They are a four-piece band bringing you the sounds of a great road trip.

“Rigsby have been huge supporters of the festival and wowed the crowd last year with their set list of classic covers.



“Dino’s are a five-piece band that play classic rock covers and will tickle your ears with with songs from Led Zeppelin to Muse to Boston to Oasis.”
