SHIPLAKE completed the double over local rivals Pangbourne last week.
The visitors started the match with fluid movement down the court and strong possession, ending the first quarter with a 5-1 lead.
Pangbourne eased their way back into contention with four second-quarter goals but Shiplake still managed to score frequently enough to hold on to an 8-5 lead at half-time.
Entering the third quarter, precise shooting skills from Anna Proctor and Sophie Arnold enabled Shiplake to go 14-7 ahead. This was backed up by good defending by Sammy Hildred and keeper Molly Thorp.
Pangbourne rallied before coach Lou Porter made several tactical substitutions which resulted in the visitors winning by six goals.
