NETTLEBED Primary School raised £1,900 at its summer fete on Saturday.
The money will go towards developing the school’s library and literacy curriculum.
Visitors enjoyed a variety of stalls selling cakes, toys, plants and second hand clothes.
A wet sponge throwing game was particularly popular with youngsters, along with skittles, penalty shoot-outs and hula hoops.
There was a “guess the weight of the cake” stall, manicures, panning for gold and a tombola.
