Nettlebed pupils hold eco-fair

Nettlebed pupils hold eco-fair
Pupils at Nettlebed Community School held an eco-fair on Wednesday (16).

Children at the school in High Street have been studying the environment this term and set up stalls in the school hall on topics such as wasting water, recycling and energy-saving lightbulbs.

There were also displays from members of the local community, including the nearby Warburg Nature Reserve.

The fair was opened by Jeni Wood, deputy mayor of Henley, and attended by dozens of parents.

Councillor Wood said: “It’s vital that kids get to know this because they need to save our planet and they will do this by learning good habits.
