Charity makes MP a trustee

JOHN HOWELL has become a vice-patron of the Chiltern Centre for disabled children in Henley.

JOHN HOWELL has become a vice-patron of the Chiltern Centre for disabled children in Henley.

The Henley MP, who has visited the Greys Road centre a number of times, said: “It will be a delight to work with them and help with their endeavours, including raising £240,000 to support short breaks for disabled children.”

Paul Barrett, chairman of trustees, said: “As someone with an interest in our local community, we feel John’s support, knowledge and guidance will help the charity greatly.”
