I AM the longest–serving town councillor and a former mayor and have chaired all the main council committees.

I have been Henley’s county councillor for 10 years and am the county council cabinet member for transport and environment.

I offer unparalleled breadth of experience and commitment to the Henley community.

I will continue to fight for better and improved road, bus and rail services in Henley.  I will strive to find solutions for controlling heavy goods vehicles, which have no business in the Henley area.

I am a founding member of the Townlands Steering Group and I will continue to campaign for the right kind of health provision for the residents of Henley. I successfully campaigned for the Chilterns End care home to move to the Townlands Hospital site.

In my close involvement with the neighbourhood plan, I want to see that new housing, business activity and industrial development is what Henley needs to continue as a vibrant, dynamic community.  All new development must be sensitive to its environment.

I am spearheading the campaign for more and better public sports facilities, including public tennis courts and an outdoor adult gym, and a new skate park.
