I LIVE in Luker Avenue and and am married with two daughters and three stepsons. I am a retired Shell Oil executive, professional sports groundsman and professional tennis and squash coach.

I am treasurer of the Henley Over–60s Club,  co–ordinator of the Abrahams estate Neighbourhood Watch and a member of the council’s planning and recreation and amenities committees and formerly the Henley Youth Club and Townlands Steering Group.

Originally elected as a Conservative, I needed freedom to follow my own inclinations and convictions and this time I am standing as an independent, through which I believe I will have much to offer the residents of Henley.

My experience has equipped me for watching oversight of the council’s financial stewardship. Experience on the planning committee has enabled me to assess projects and obtain considerable success in arguing residents’ cases to the district council. I have also encouraged the neighbourhood plan from the outset. I hope, too, to help start an Abrahams estate residents’ association. I attend and report on the Chilterns Conservation Board forums. I have also supported the Makins wheeled sports initiative from its inception.

I am a member of the Henley Baptist Church.
