I AM a 39–year–old married man who lives in Greys Road.
Since childhood I have been particularly interested in technology and computing and have turned software and internet development from a hobby into a career.
In my spare time I enjoy walking along the river and in the hills and woodland around Henley.
I am a keen follower of current affairs and am interested in modern European history. I am a member of English Heritage and Liberty.
I’m standing for election to the town council as an enthusiastic Henley resident with no bias, just a local with fresh ideas, hoping for the opportunity to do some good for the town.
My wife and I moved to Henley with our children eight years ago and we have never looked back. We love the town and community and I’d like to get more involved locally.
I believe Henley Town Council should be independent of national party politics so I decided to join HRG because it has done such a good job leading the town council for most of the last 20 years.
I am passionate about the success of local businesses, the new skate park at Makins rcreation ground, the splash park and community events.
