Prospective councillor - Simon Narracott

HENLEY is a great place to live and to visit with lots of events and activities

HENLEY is a great place to live and to visit with lots of events and activities held throughout the year. Visitors across the world know Henley for lots of different reasons and I want to make sure that, as a town councillor, I deliver as much help and creative ideas to build on this, ensuring that both locals and businesses benefit.

I live and work in Henley and can give the job the attention it deserves.  I know Henley residents would expect no less. I will campaign to improve air quality using all the options available, including reducing through– traffic and increasing regular town buses to run every 15 minutes.

I have a 16–year–old daughter who goes to Gillotts, so I fully support the skate park and would make building it a priority, giving the young people of Henley a long overdue new facility.

I believe we need to boost activities for people of all ages, so let’s use the available investment grants to build up our sports and recreation clubs. This is something HRG has a good track record of doing.

I want to fight for what is right and best for all the people of Henley, without having to toe the line of a national party. HRG, with its proven track record of caring for the town, is the only party that offers this.
