Labour of love sees house transformed

28/10/2014

A property in Berkshire Road, Henley has been beautifully renovated by the current owners to a high specification after they had a vision to transform it.

The house was untouched since the Fifties, and owner Laura Reineke said it could not have been lived in as it was. Having renovated two other homes in Henley, Laura and her husband Antony were well versed in transforming properties that were crying out for a little TLC.

They wanted to create a contemporary home that was bright and airy and comfortable for them and their three children. They had owned the property for four years, and the project took about 12 months to complete. Now the house provides light and spacious living accommodation throughout.

The entrance hall opens through to the sitting room with feature open fireplace and window to the front while the sitting room leads through to the dining area and on to the kitchen with two sets of double doors opening on to the terrace and garden.

The kitchen is fitted with a range of floor and wall mounted units, large central island with Maia work surfaces and integrated appliances.
