May Day offers continuity

MAY DAY offers a friendly and professional home support and sitting service for adults and their carers.

MAY DAY offers a friendly and professional home support and sitting service for adults and their carers.

This provides the “cared for” with an experienced and dedicated support service and their carer with a regular slot for “time off”.

May Day can assist with companionship, pursuing old or new hobbies and interests, preparing meals, assisting with light housework/laundry, shopping, attending GP and hospital appointments or enjoying a therapeutic walk (dog provided!).

The service is tailor-made to meet your needs and visits can be regular weekly or monthly arrangements but owner Vanessa Money-Kyrle can also assist with support at the weekend or in the evenings.

Vanessa has worked in the care environment for more than 20 years and qualified as a social worker in 1998.

Her background has included working with adults in both community and hospital settings and assisting families and individuals in planning and buying care and support on behalf of Age UK.

Vanessa has a sub-specialty of working with older adults with Alzheimer’s and dementia and adults with neurological conditions.

Vanessa knows how important it is for those who need care to see the same person on each visit and by doing so build a good relationship which enables continuity. Vanessa said that she feels “proud” to be able to offer a friendly, professional and individual service in Henley and surrounding areas.

For more information about May Day please call Vanessa Money-Kyrle to discuss your needs on (01491) 574480 or 07791 871898.
