Hawks and Bulls get pre-season underway

HENLEY HAWKS start their pre-season games with a double header tomorrow (Saturday) which will be played

HENLEY HAWKS start their pre-season games with a double header tomorrow (Saturday) which will be played at Reading Abbey’s Rosehill ground as Dry Leas is not available until September due to the building of the new clubhouse.

First up will be Henley Bulls against host club Reading Abbey at 2pm. This will be followed at 4pm by the Hawks’ friendly against newly-promoted Championship side Richmond.

The Hawks side for this match, which includes a number of new signings, is as follows: 1 Billy Moss, 2 Brad Cook, 3 Ziana Montout Alexis, 4 Charlie Davey, 5 Dave Clements, 6 Tommy Haynes, 7 Connor Morrison, 8 Julian Watkins, 9 George Jackson, 10 Joe Butler, 11 Dynel Fessall, 12 Alan Awcock, 13 Tom Gardner, 14 Xavier Andre, 15 Liam O’Neill.

Tom Hall, Jake Albon, Dave Manning and James Comben were unavailable for selection for this match.

The Henley Bulls side to face Reading Abbey is as follows: 1 Zak, 2 Jamie Cox, 3 Jim Hadfield, 4 Iwan Davies , 5 AN Other, 6 George Lane, 7 Scott White, 8 Marcus Lane, 9 Liam Eaton, 10 James Stevenson-Wright, 11 Simon Perry, 12 Jay Odoma, 13 Louis Flynn, 14 Steffan Jones, 15 Luke Govier.



Reserves for this match include Ross Lewis, Tyler Wint, Kean Bronard, Toby Wilson, Ainsley Campbell, Clarke Sichel and Jack Wiggins.
