Bradbury puts in five-star performances for Henley Swifts

HENLEY U9s continued their winning ways at the Maidenhead tournament on Sunday.

HENLEY U9s continued their winning ways at the Maidenhead tournament on Sunday.

With four teams entered called the Harriers, Blackbirds, Eagles and Swifts, all performed exceptionally well. The Swifts won four out of five of their games with Jack Bradbury running in five tries, Harry Groves leading the line, and Rob Murdoch smashing the opposition at will.

The Blackbirds were well led by Seb Phillis who tackled well. George Bottomley ran hard and Ben Griffith demonstrated his silky running skills. The Blackbirds won three out of their five games.

The Harriers won four of their five games playing some attacking rugby with Edward Hamilton-Hurst leading from the front and Fletcher Stickley tackling hard. The Harriers played a close match against Windsor just losing out 1-0 to an interception try. Elsewhere Henley Eagles battled hard all day with Dylan Price, Rory Cordingley and Charlie Rees putting in some great tackles.
