HENLEY HAWKS got back to winning ways with a 50-12 Championship South Division 1 victory against Southampton-based side Trojans at Dry Leas on Sunday.
The Hawks opened the scoring when good ball retention saw it work its way to the left wing for Parry to finish well. A conversion from out wide from Dudding put the hosts 7-0 up.
Moments later Atkinson broke free for her first of the day and Lynch slotted the extras. The fast start meant Henley seemed to coast for the next 20 minutes as Trojans tackled well and made some breaks of their own.
The Hawks upped the tempo before Atkinson rounded the defence to finish in the corner. Not to be outdone Parry claimed her second before Trojans scored a try under the posts just before half-time.
The late rally at the end of the first half galvanised the away side as they continued to take the game to Henley and scored another try out wide to reduce the score to 24-12.
