London Irish coaching for pupils

THE Oratory School’s first team have got their season off to a good start.

THE Oratory School’s first team have got their season off to a good start.

Early season wins over Christ College Brecon and Reading Blue Coat were followed by a defeat against Eton.

However, The Oratory boys bounced back to winning ways last Saturday against Merchant Taylors, Northwood, in what was the first ever encounter between the two schools. This week London Irish academy manager Billy Clark, supported by former England scrum half Peter Richards, were up at the Oratory as the partnership between the school and club continues to develop.

Master in charge of rugby, former London Irish player Tom Hennessy, said: “It is a real privilege to have the academy coaches present and offer the boys some top flight coaching.”
