A HENLEY school has retained the South Oxfordshire tag trophy at Wallingford.

A HENLEY school has retained the South Oxfordshire tag trophy at Wallingford.

St Mary’s School’s U11 side won all their pool matches against Sacred Heart, Benson B, John Hampden A and Wheatley to qualify for the A League round-robin final phase.

In the round-robin St Mary’s narrowly defeated Crowmarsh 6-5 and lost 6-5 to John Hampden B before thrashing Benson A 7-2 to finish in first place. This was the third time that St Mary’s has won the trophy.
